Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world. The SkiWelt has already been voted one of the best ski areas in the world several times! 81 modern lifts, 275 km of slopes, four snow parks and 2 fun slopes guarantee endless fun in the snow. Whether young or old, beginner or professional, everyone gets their money's worth here.

The Jochbahn, the fastest 8-seater chairlift in the world, is operated on Brixen's sunny side. With a travel speed of 6 m per second, the detachable, heated chairlift bridges the 2 km long distance extremely quickly and at the same time offers great comfort. In addition, there is the Joch downhill run which, thanks to an ingenious subway solution, takes skiers over the access road without any crossings.

From Brixen you finally reach the Hartkaiser via Hochbrixen, where beginners as well as experts and freeriders get their money's worth. On the one hand you have the connection to the Hohe Salve, on the other hand via the Choralpe even to the Kitzbühel slopes. The Big Playground on the Gampenkogel sweetens the day for boarders. The 1.5 km long piste from the Choralpe to the middle station with a gradient of 80%, the steepest piste in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, requires a little experience, whereas beginners will find great pistes on the Westendorf side or at Hochbrixen. Freeriders get their money's worth in Hopfgarten, Scheffau or Westendorf. The approx. 80 refreshment stops that line the ski area also promise real "high pleasure".

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you get access to over 2,815 km of piste and 939 lifts in 22 ski regions!

Night skiing Brixen in Thale

In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental there are 2 ski areas that offer night skiing: Söll and Brixen. At the Schusterbühel lift in Brixen, there are 300 metres of blue night skiing slopes, which are illuminated continuously until 19:00 at certain times.

However, the highlight in terms of night skiing awaits in the SkiWelt Söll. This is Austria's largest night skiing area! From Wednesday to Saturday, 10 kilometres of groomed pistes are available into the night. A total of five runs on the Hexenwasser gondola lift and the Keat and Hexen6er chairlifts are floodlit until 21:45 and the valley run until 22:30. In addition to the numerous downhill runs, the "Hans im Glück" fun arena on the 10-seater adventure gondola is also floodlit for night-time skiing fun. Various ski huts and the night toboggan run on the Hochsöll gondola lift round off the evening offer. Night skiing in Söll is so extensive that a separate ski pass must be purchased for it.

Après ski Brixen in Thale

Those with energy left after a full day on the piste will find plenty of evening entertainment in the Brixental Valley area. Various bars, pubs, mountain restaurants and clubs will keep you amused - the Underground Lounge and the Brixner Stadl are worthy of special mention. Restaurants and taverns are cosier, and guests can let themselves be spoilt by typical regional and international cuisine.

Enjoy the wonderful winter landscape on a long winter hike, on horseback or while Nordic walking. The so-called Alpeniglu village with 18 igloos at the mountain station in Hochbrixen invites you to an ice art exhibition with annually changing themes, cool drinks from ice glasses, a sun lounge, bar and much more. Further possibilities in the area of Brixen include night tobogganing and skittles, as well as torch-lit and snowshoe hikes. Ice skating, curling or swimming in an indoor pool in Ellmau and Kitzbühel are also possible. The nightlife in these resorts is also definitely worthwhile!

Snowpark: Big Playground Brixen in Thale

Four great snow parks, one obstacle course and two fun slopes are available for you in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. From Brixen you can most easily reach the "Mini Playground", the "Big Playground" or the "Boarders Playground" parks. The "Mini Playground" is located on the practice area and offers waves, curves jib boxes and small jumps, making it especially suited for beginners and younger riders. Further, the "Big Playground", situated at the Gampenkogel lift, offers beginners and pros alike a range of freestyle possibilities.

On the easy line the beginners can test their skills out on slide elements. The pro line in the "Public Park" is better suited for experienced riders and offers a jump line and a jib line with bonks, boxes and rails. Additionally, the super-cross line with a snake-run and banked slalom offers great fun for beginners as well as intermediates. Furthermore, the park has a chill-out area. This freestyling gem is definitely worth a visit.

If that's not enough, there are three more snow parks in the SkiWelt, the "Hans im Glück" ski course, the "Hexenwelle" adventure piste and the "Kaiserpark" near Ellmau.
