In the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, most of the lifts start right in the centre and the predominantly easy slopes will delight beginners and leisure skiers in particular. Experts can prove their skiing talent on the "Miramonti", the most feared steep slope in the Dolomites, as well as on the 2.4 km long "Spinale Direttissima" on Monte Spinale! The "Canalone Miramonti" World Cup piste also guarantees skiing fun in the evening thanks to floodlights, while boarders and freeriders can let off steam in numerous freeride and deep snow areas as well as in three snow parks.
In Pontedilegno Tonale, advanced winter sports enthusiasts will find ideal terrain around the Passo del Tonale and the Presana glacier with a total of 100 km of slopes. These are served by 28 lifts. In the ski area, at an altitude of 3,000 metres in places, ambitious amateur skiers can expect mostly medium-difficulty slopes, which are perfect for ambitious amateur skiers, before heading onto 10 km of black pistes. There is also a special terrain park with a ski cross course, where wave sections and jumps require full concentration on skis.
The Folgarida - Marilleva ski area has 63 km of pistes between 1,300 and 2,180 metres above sea level. In addition to 18 km of long, easy pistes for families and beginners and 32 km of red runs, Folgarida and Marilleva also offer a direct piste connection to Madonna di Campiglio. Other highlights include the floodlit snow park in Monte Bondone, the impressive 100-person gondola lift in Pejo and the 6 km Olympic downhill run in the Paganella ski area. There is also a small but excellent family ski area in Pinzolo.
