Cross-country Sestriere (Via Lattea)

The region boasts a cross-country network of approx. 100 kilometres, that both sporty guests and landscape enthusiasts can enjoy. Surrounding the resorts Cesana, Sansicario, Claviere and Pragelato most trails are prepared for classic cross country skiing. In 2006 Pragelato hosted the Nordic combined and cross country skiing competitions during the Olympic Winter Games, so that you can look forward to a very good infrastructure and a great cross country area. Especially lovely is the stretch through Val des Pres in French Névache or from Montgenèvre through Vallée de la Clarée. With the newly constructed olympic cross-country centre at Clavière, the offer is very attractive. Cross-country lessons are offered at all cross-country stations.
