Ski area Grandvalira
The closest entry point to the ski area Grandvalira is in Encamp, around 5.5 km away. The funitel lift brings you directly to the diverse ski area. There are plenty of runs for beginners to choose from, so many that barely any run will need to be repeated twice on the same day. Mogul piste obstacle courses and off-piste possibilities will make any skier's heart race faster. The pros let off steam in the fun parks, on the FIS-race circuits and on the boardercross routes. As a result of its altitude at 2,640 m and the humid Atlantic air, the ski area Grandvalira is also extremely reliable for snow.
Internet access is made possible through a number of Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the ski area. Since February 2019, you can also use your Grandvalira lift pass in the Ordino Acalís ski area, with 30 further kilometres of piste and 15 lifts.
Night skiing Escaldes
The Sunset Park Henrik Harlaut is located in Grau Roig and offers freeriders the perfect end to a day of skiing. There are three different lines with jumps and rails, as well as a bag jump. Après ski Escaldes
In Pas de la Casa you can enjoy après ski just as easily. Many bars with cheap prices draw in a young crowd. Cala Bassa Beach Club is one of the most popular beach clubs in Ibiza, and can now be found in the snow and directly on the piste in Grandvalira too. The Iglu-Bar at the Pic Blanc chairlift is constructed purely out of snow, making it an unusual location.
Alongside the usual après ski, there are also a lot of other possibilities for recreational activities, such as taking part in dog-sledding and snowshoe hikes in the region. Other attractive offers, such as building igloos, helicopter rides, zip-lining and much more, make for the perfect mix of action and relaxation on your holiday.
