Ski area Bad Kleinkirchheim - St. Oswald

In Bad Kleinkirchheim/St. Oswald you will have 103 km of piste and 24 lifts at 1,100 - 2,055 m of altitude available to choose from. On the Kaiserburg (2,055 m), the Nockalm (1,870 m) and the Brunnach (1,908 m) the pistes are all so wide, that there is something suitable for every skier and snowboarder. Especially snowboarders and freestylers will find the boardercross area at the Kaiserberg lift and the deep powder snow and freerider areas at the Mulde and Hirschsprung lifts quite enjoyable.

Less experienced skiers can divert to the Nockberg, just above St. Oswald. Wide and well maintained pistes are really good for carving. Pros will find the World Cup slope Klammer, named after the former World Champion and Olympic winner Franz Klammer, to power out on over a total length of 3.2 km.

The ski area also offers guests Wi-Fi at all of the valley stations as well as exclusive thermal/massage cubes with sauna right on the piste.

With your lift pass you have the choice of spending a day on the piste or in the thermal spa Römerbad - the lift pass is valid per day either for the lifts or the spa.

Night skiing Bad Kleinkirchheim

Ski and snowboarders who do not want to step off the pistes in the afternoon are recommended to visit the night ski area in Bad Kleinkirchheim/St. Oswald. At Sonnleiten lift in St. Oswald you can try out night skiing every Thursday from 19:00 - 21:00. For night skiing, there are approx. 400 m of flood light pistes for all who still have enough energy after nightfall and want to stay on the pistes. The white slopes are especially beautiful in the floodlight.

Après ski Bad Kleinkirchheim

The combination of Kärntner hospitality and the charismatic atmosphere of the huts, as well as the sunny spots bei Bad Kleinkirchheim, encourage one or the other ski bunny to turn in for a drink long before the day is over. The sun terrace "Nock In" in St. Oswald or the rustic "Zum Weltcup Poldl" are particularly hip. Here you can get ready to have a fantastic evening in the disco, in one of the apres ski bars or in the popular hangout, the "Sundowner".

You'd do well to follow Bad Kleinkirchheim's motto "From the mountains into the thermal springs". It's all about wellness here. So much so, that the town was elected to be one of the first alpine wellness resorts. The thermal Römerbad thermal bath at the foot of the Kaiserburg are spring-fed and rejuvenate tired muscles in 34-degree, warm, steaming water.

Those who want to use their muscles a little more can explore the mountain landscape on snow shoes, horse-drawn sleighs or on one of the four toboggan runs. In the spa park and nearby the tennis all you can also find ice skating rinks, and in the "Sportarena", you can also try out curling. There are also 60 km of beautiful winter trails.

Snowpark: Snowpark Bad Kleinkirchheim Bad Kleinkirchheim

The massive winter sport area Bad Kleinkirchheim is not the only thing attracting winter sports fans to the area - the Snowpark offers freestylers everything their hearts desire. At the Nockalm lift you will find a park in sunny location, which was constructed by the biggest European label "QPark". It is divided into a beginner and intermediate area and offers everyone a chance to get to know the scene. A park's own lift can be used in order to avoid losing time.

There are various boxes, rails, tubes, and kickers (up to 10 m) for your use. This freestyler's paradise is always well-kept due to a professional shaping crew.

There is also a kids slope in the ski area (near the Sonnleiten lift in St. Oswald) that can be used by both the small ones, as well as their older brothers or sisters.
