Ski area Berwangertal interconnected ski areas
Berwang, the highest village in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, offers 34 km of piste and 12 lift systems including conveyor belts with the Berwangertal interconnected ski area. Here, the little ones can set off on their own and still stay within sight of the hotel terrace.
The sunny and snow-sure altitude on the Alpine crossing between Zugspitze and Lechtal is overwhelming. The particularly popular Sonnalmbahn lives up to its name and offers not too difficult pistes for wide carving turns.
And so that you can stay in touch with your friends back home during your skiing holiday, the valley stations of the Sonnalmbahn, Egghof Sun Jet and Biliglift offer free Wi-Fi hotspots.
Night skiing Berwangertal interconnected ski areas
There are numerous ski areas in Austria where some pistes are floodlit for night skiing on special dates. The associated lifts then extend their operating hours until late in the evening. Night skiing is also possible in the Berwangertal interconnected ski areas. The Egghof Sunjet in Berwang opens its facilities for night owls every Thursday from 17:45 to 20:45. Night tobogganing is also possible on the 700 metre-long piste. In addition to Berwang, night skiing is also offered in Lermoos. The 500 metre-long piste on the 8-seater "Familyjet" gondola lift is open for night skiing on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:30. Night skiing is a unique experience and should be tried out by every ski fan.Après ski Berwangertal interconnected ski areas
Once a week, night owls can also enjoy themselves on the toboggan run instead of on the dance floor. The piste at Egghof Sun Jet is also floodlit for night skiing. During the day, the 2.4-kilometre-long toboggan run in Lermoos is a little more appealing.
But that's not the end of the off-piste leisure options. On the Berwang natural ice rink, you can skate your laps or compete in Bavarian curling. You can also explore the surrounding area on a total of 60 kilometres of winter hiking trails.
Snowpark Berwangertal interconnected ski areas: Ehrwalder Alm Snowpark
There is no snowpark in this ski area.
In Ehrwald, about 15 kilometres away, the professionally built Ehrwalder Alm Snowpark is located in the centre of the ski area, along the Klämmli piste, and is groomed daily. The Klämmli lift, which is just as long as the park, provides one run after another. Various jumps (6 - 12 metres), rails, boxes and much more spread over 3 lines (small, medium and large) offer plenty of practice opportunities for beginners and pros alike.
