Location
The comfortable 4-star Berghotel is situated in a peaceful location at an altitude of around 1,080 m, approx. 2.5 km away from the resort centre of Dorfgastein. The ski bus stops right at the hotel and takes you comfortably to the Dorfgastein ski area (approx. 2.2 km). You can find a toboggan run around 2.5 km away and access to the cross-country trails is possible after approx. 2.2 km.Facilities
The hotel is run very personally and with great attention to detail and has a reception, lift, Wi-Fi and Internet corner, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, children's playroom and a ski cellar. Free parking spaces and carport parking spaces are available subject to availability. There is also a charging station for electric cars (for a fee).You can also use the hotel's 250 m² spa area with alpine sauna, Swiss stone pine sauna, Kneipp pool, hot tub, crushing bath, stone steam grotto, hay bed, waterbed, spiral showers, infrared cabin and alpine relaxation garden free of charge (opening times according to the notice board in the hotel). You can also use the heated outdoor pool with indoor entrance, panorama sauna, herbal sauna and fitness room. You can help yourself free of charge at the vitamin juice bar. Massages can be booked for a fee.
As a hotel customer, you also receive the Gastein Card for numerous discounts at partner businesses in the region (see information on site).
Board
The half board is included in the holiday price. This comprises a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet with a vitality corner and three menus of choice and a salad bar in the evenings (both regional and international cuisine). A food-lover's menu and a dessert buffet, as well as a farmer's buffet, are offered weekly. Important notes
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children up to and including the age of 5, they ride the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area and the Rauchleiten platter lift free of charge when accompanied by their parents. If your child uses the lifts independently, a minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site.
- Please note that the lift in Dorfgastein will be closed from 30/03 to 06/04/2025 due to renovation work. You are welcome to use the neighbouring ski area in Bad Hofgastein (about 9 km away) during this time. This is already included in the "Ski amadé" lift pass. You can collect your lift pass from the lift ticket office in Bad Hofgastein using the lift pass voucher. The vouchers are only accepted in printed paper format.
