Cross-country Gaschurn

The area around Gaschurn is a paradise for cross-country enthusiasts with its nearly 15 kilometres of trails. You can reach the cross-country area Bielerhöhe at the Silvretta high alpine road, which is the highest cross-country area of the Vorarlberg with an altitude of 2,000 m above sea level. From the frozen over Silvretta reservoir - situated at one of Austria's most beautiful alpine roads - you can enjoy an impressive view of the highest mountain of the federal state: the Piz Buin (3,312 m).

One highly recommended trail is the 9 km-long medium-difficulty panorama trail Kristberg, which alternates between small ascents and flat areas. In total the area offers 68 km of classic style and 22 km of skating-style trails.
