Location
The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Der Grubacher with its own organic farm is located on the sunny side of Gerlos, around 2.5 km from the village centre. The nearest access to the "Zillertal Arena" ski area (Isskogel gondola lift) and a ski bus stop are approx. 500 metres from the accommodation. In good snow conditions, it is possible to ski down to the house. A cross-country ski trail is around 50 m away and the nearest toboggan run is approx. 500 m away.The chalet belonging to the hotel is not officially classified and is located about 300 metres above the hotel (ski-in & ski-out)
Facilities
The hotel's general facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, children's playroom, wine cellar and a ski cellar. Free parking can be found (subject to availability).In addition, the hotel has a wellness area of approx. 500 m² (opening hours according to the notice board on site, use for hotel guests only). This has an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, infrared loungers, experience showers, tea & juice bar, relaxation room and a panorama sauna connected to the outdoor BIO bathing pond, which can also be used in winter to cool down. Upon arrival, you will receive a spa basket in your hotel room with a bathrobe and bath towels. Massages are also available on request (for a fee). A fitness room is also available free of charge. The spa area in the hotel is only available to hotel guests. The chalet has a barrel sauna and a whirlpool.
You will receive the guest card on site, with which you can benefit from numerous reductions in the region (see information on site).
Children can also take part in a tour of the stables when accompanied by their parents.
Board
The holiday price includes breakfast or half board, depending on the room type or board type booked. When booking the chalet, board is not included. The breakfast option includes a rich breakfast buffet made from local and seasonal ingredients. When booking half board, a 4- to 5-course evening meal with meat from our own farm is also included. Important notes
- Dogs are only allowed in the room type double room in single occupancy and double room/addl. bed on request. Dogs are not allowed in the bar, restaurant and spa area.
- Information for guests in the 7-person chalet: On the day of arrival (starting at 15:00) you will be taken to the chalet with a shuttle service (also transfer on the day of departure, 09:00).
- The chalet is directly accessible on skis until 17:00. After this time, no downhill skiing or hiking on the piste is permitted, as the pistes are closed due to piste preparation. Shuttle rides are possible by arrangement and for a fee at certain times.
- The chalet has no official classification. Check-in takes place at the Naturhotel Der Grubacher (including payment of the deposit).
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
