Ski holidays Hintertux – Ski holiday in Austria's only year-round ski area!
Hintertux
The small resort of Hintertux lies at an altitude of 1,500 m and is especially known as the valley station of the Hintertux Glacier ski area. The massive Tuxer Ferner glacier, on which you can ski along well into the summer, forms the valley run into the Tuxer valley at the back of Zillertal. Hintertux itself, with its ideal location at the foot of Austria's only year-round ski area, is the perfect holiday destination for winter sports fans who are looking to spend their time being active or relaxing while being surrounded by breathtaking Alpine landscapes. Snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, a ride along the Zillertal Railway and, of course, the glacier with its cave access, panorama terrace and ice palace provide guests with plenty of nature-based experiences. Hintertux belongs to the district of Tux with its districts Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns und Madseit, all of which are shaped by tourism and provide many leisure time activities. From Tux and Finkenberg, you even have access to the Ski- und Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 ski area.Zillertal
Zillertal, sometimes referred to as the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 542 kilometres of piste, 180 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all km of piste in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys and at the Wildkogel. The valleys are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus, which allows you to fully enjoy the pistes.Travel Hintertux
