Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" lift pass, you have access to one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world. The SkiWelt has been voted one of the best ski areas in the world several times in a row by the independent platform "Skiresort Service International"!

81 modern lifts, 275 km of pistes and several fun parks guarantee endless fun in the snow. Itter is directly connected to the SkiWelt via the local mountain Hohe Salve. The Salvistabahn cable car takes you comfortably to the station at 1,565 metres, from where further options open up for you. The 3.5 km long valley descent to Itter awaits those in good physical condition on the Hohe Salve and experts will also get their money's worth on the "Black Eagle" summit descent on the Hohe Salve gondola lift. Freestylers can let off steam in the Söll Snowpark. Westendorf and Ellmau also have snow parks with many other challenging elements. The 80 refreshment stops that line the ski area also promise a real "treat".

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

Night skiing Itter

In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental there is the option of night skiing in Söll and Brixen. Austria's largest night skiing area is located in the SkiWelt Söll. From Wednesday to Saturday, 10 km of groomed pistes are available here until late at night. The pistes near the Hexenwasser gondola lift and the Keat and Hexen6er chairlifts are floodlit until 21:45 and the valley run until 22:30. In addition to the numerous downhill runs, the ‘Hans im Glück’ fun arena on the 10-seater adventure gondola is also floodlit for night-time skiing fun. Night skiing in Söll is exceptional and so extensive that a separate lift pass must be purchased for it.

Night owls also get their money's worth in Brixen on the 300 metre long blue night ski piste at the Schusterbühel lift. At certain times, the piste is floodlit until 19:00.

Après ski Itter

Alongside eventful days on the piste, Itter and Hopfgarten offer numerous alternatives, such as tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating and curling. Snowshoe and winter hikes through the snowy mountains are also popular here.

On the husky ranch in Angerberg, discover interesting insights into the world of husky sports. Why not give an intro course in husky sports a go?

Otherwise, various bars, restaurants, lodges and cafes with dancefloors ensure you won't be bored or hungry. Party animals can dance till the early morning hours in "Salvista-Stadl" in Itter. Trying out the nightlife in nearby resorts Ellmau, Söll or even Kitzbühel or Kirchberg is also worthwhile!

Snowpark: Snowpark Hexenwelle Itter

In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental there are several great snow parks to choose from. In Söll, the "Hexenwelle" adventure piste awaits you with several challenges for younger winter sports enthusiasts as well as the "Hans im Glück" ski course. Here you will find 2 lines with varied obstacles with jumps, boxes, curves, corners and much more.

Those looking for additional freestyle fun will find the "Kaiserpark" near Ellmau and the "Big Playground" near Westendorf, which offers further challenging elements with its new super-cross line. The "Mini Playground" in Westendorf is ideal for practising easier tricks.
