Location
The 4-star Hotel Sonnblick, which was completely renovated and newly constructed in 2020, is located in a picturesque setting between Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn. The centre of Kaprun and the ski area are only approx. 200 m away. The nearest shopping facilities, as well as the nearest access point into a cross-country trail, are only approx. 150 m away. The ski bus stop is only approx. 50 m away.Facilities
The welcoming Hotel Sonnblick has a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, lounge, parlour, restaurant, breakfast room, bar and ski cellar. Hotel parking spaces and a parking garage (for a fee) can also be found and used upon availability. A charging station for electric vehicles is also available at the hotel.The approx. 200 m² "Zirben SPA" (opening times as per info in resort) with heatable outdoor pool, hot tub, organic sauna, Finnish sauna, spa and rain showers, mineral-rich "Grander" water, heated seats by the open fireplace as well as the relaxation room with water beds can be used free of charge (subject to change, amendments to the spa area facilities after renovation are possible).
Additionally, you will receive a 10% discount on the entrance fee to the "Tauern Spa" and on tickets for the year-round summer toboggan run in Kaprun, as well as a 30% discount on equipment hire at Sport 2000. In resort, you will also receive a 5% discount per person/booking at the "Deins & Meins" restaurant in Zell am See (voucher received with travel documents).
Board
The already included half board PLUS consists of a welcome drink, organic breakfast buffet with large product selection, afternoon snack with cake, salad or soup (15:30 - 17:00) and a 3-course evening meal with choice including a salad and appetiser buffet (main dish and dessert to choose from). A vegetarian alternative is also offered, while gluten-free or lactose-free meals can be prepared on request. Vegan meals are also available (for a fee). In resort, a 5-course meal can be booked instead of a 3-course meal (for a fee). On both Christmas and New Year's Eve, a sparkling wine reception and 7-course gala dinner is organised. A joint Christmas tree singing event is additionally organised on Christmas.Pets
