Ski area Laterns

South of Lake Constance in the Bregenzerwald lies the tranquil ski area of Laterns Gapfohl. From the highest point of the ski area, the Nob, at 1,785 m, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. With the ski pass "Laterns Gapfohl" you can use 27 km of perfectly groomed slopes with two chairlifts and four T-bar lifts as well as a magic carpet. With 15 kilometres, the majority of the slopes are of medium difficulty. In addition, the ski area has around 8 km of blue and just under 4 km of black pistes. A special highlight is the approximately 3.6 km long FIS downhill run from Nob down to Innerlaterns, which involves climbing about 745 metres in altitude. At 1,040 m, the valley station is the lowest point of the ski area. This means that there is the right downhill run for every level of ability and no one is short-changed in the Laterns Gapfohl ski area. Two picturesque ski routes also lead over the Tschugger Alpe up to the summit and invite you to go ski touring or snowshoe hiking.

Après ski Laterns

In addition to tobogganing and hiking opportunities, the local restaurants of the Laternsertal valley can be explored away from skiing and snowboarding. Winter sports enthusiasts who would like to sit back and be kissed by the sun during the skiing day are in exactly the right place at the "Falba Stuba" hut at the middle station at 1,570 m above sea level. In addition to regional specialities and a cosy atmosphere, the mountain restaurant is characterised by appealing architecture and a large sun terrace. At the valley station, gourmets will also find a suitable meal in the rustic Kuhstall restaurant, as well as the possibility to let the skiing day come to an end until the late hours. Those looking for more lively evening entertainment can head to the Schnall'Ab umbrella bar for après-ski. Here the motto is: whoever stays the longest wins. Because it only closes when the last person goes home!

Snowpark: Snowpark Laterns Laterns

In the upper part of the ski area, directly at the Nob six-seater chairlift, the Laterns Snowpark attracts freestylers. It is ideal for beginners and advanced skiers and offers kickers and rails as well as a big jump at the end of the fun park.
