Cross-country Latschach

The tri-border-region from Arnoldstein to lake Faak holds approx. 28 km of cross-country trails of an easy to intermediate level of difficulty. The longest trail in the region is Seltschach trail with 10 km and 750 m in altitude from and to the Dreiländereck mountain railway's valley station. Nearby Lake Faak in Oberaichwald you will find a great panoramic trail with a length of 4 km. The Karawanken trail is also 4 km long and offers a wonderful view of the mountain rage. In Wernberg, beginners will find two easier trails with a length of 5 km each.

Additionally, there are approx. 30 km of trails available in Villach, as well as three further trails in the ski area at Gerlitzen Alpe, such as e.g. a nice high-altitude trail.
