Ski holidays Maishofen - between Zell am See and Saalbach!

Maishofen

Maishofen (757 m) is especially distinguished by its attractive surroundings. Surrounded by majestic 3,000 m mountains, as well as the Pinzgau Gras Mountains, Maishofen is situated directly next to Zell am See. The free ski bus takes you quickly and comfortably to Zell am See, Kaprun or the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski region. Neighbouring Zell am See is Pinzgau's touristic centre and is located idyllically on a peninsula between Lake Zell and the Schmittenhöhe. The 6 km long Schmitten Tunnel keeps through traffic out of the city, so that you can stroll and shop undisturbed in the generous pedestrian zone, lined with lovely old buildings. Together with the great ski areas and the first-rate selection of leisure activities, the holiday region Zell am See-Kaprun offers the best conditions for a perfect Austrian holiday!

Zell am See-Kaprun

Zell am See-Kaprun is situated in the heart of Salzburger Land and is one of the most well-known and important holiday regions in all of Austria. It is dominated by the peaks of the surrounding mountains Kitzsteinhorn (3,203 m), Schmittenhöhe (2,000 m) and Maiskogel (1,675 m). Integrated into the Hohen Tauern, the region stands for maximum winter fun. In addition to varied and, thanks to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, very snow-sure pistes, the region offers its guests a lush leisure programme and unforgettable après ski along with everything else that makes the perfect winter holiday.
