Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Alpengarten is located quietly amid the Hohe Tauern mountain landscape, on an altitude of 1,200 m. The resort centre of Mallnitz can be reached within approx. 1 km.The Ankogel ski area lies about 2 km away and the Molltal Glacier about 12 km away. The nearest access to the cross-country trails can also be found in front of the building. A free ski bus stops approx. 200 m away (operating hours according to timetable in resort).The hotel is furnished with great love to detail and its facilities include an inviting entrance area with reception, Wi-Fi, lift, a restaurant with spacious breakfast room and dining hall, respectively, a bar, cosy parlour with fireplace, children's play room, terrace and a ski room with ski boots drier. Free-of-charge parking spaces are available at the hotel.
Further, the hotel offers an approx. 200 m² large spa area which comprises infrared cabin, sauna, steam bath and a relaxation room. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked for a locally payable fee. The entertainment programme includes a snow show hike once per week, a tobogganing evening with dinner at the hut (within the half board conditions) and curling with an included hot drink such as mulled wine or punch (fees might incur for a taxi transfer, as per info in resort).

The cosy and country-style rooms comprise of a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, hair drier, mini bar (for a fee), safe and balcony.Board
Included in the holiday price is a half board PLUS which includes a welcome drink, rich breakfast buffet with cold and warm dishes, packed lunch (from the breakfast buffet), 1 x per week cake in the afternoon, a 4-course evening meal of choice incl. salad buffet as well as various themed buffets in the evening. A children's menu is also available for the little ones.The Christmas Eve dinner as well as the New Year's Eve night with dinner and midnight snack are included in the holiday price. In resort, you will receive one beverage voucher valued at €15 for stays up to 6 nights or €30 from 7 night stays (not redeemable in cash, not transferable, can only be redeemed during the booked stay, beverages always have to be paid in cash).
