Location
The modern 4-star Superior Hotel Outside - Naturhotels & SPA is located directly in the centre of Matrei, in the national park Hohe Tauern. A ski bus stop is approx. 50 m away from the accommodation, the access point to the cross country trails is about 150 m away and the ski area is about 1.3 km away. A toboggan run is about 7 km away.Facilities
The environmentally certified accommodation's facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, children's playroom, ski cellar, library and wine cellar. A charging station for electric vehicles and free parking spaces (subject to availability) can be found outside.The Natur SPA spa area offers four saunas, jacuzzi (hydroxeur), steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room with water beds and floating loungers, as well as an indoor pool. Furthermore, a juice and tea bar as well as a fitness room with cardio equipment are at your disposal (opening hours as per info in resort). One overwater massage (hydrojet) of 15 minutes is included per person and stay. Further massages are available for a fee.
Board
The included half boar PLUS comprises an extensive breakfast buffet with fresh and regional specialties, an afternoon snack from14:00 - 17:00 with salads, soups and sweet dishes from the buffet and a 5-course menu of choice with salad and cheese buffet in the evening. Every week, special dinners with culinary highlights take place (e.g. gala dinner or East Tyrolean delicacy buffet). Vegetarian dishes are available, gluten-free and lactose-free meals can be prepared for a fee (on request).The Christmas dinner on 24/12 as well as the New Year's Eve gala dinner on 31/12 are also already included in the holiday price.
