Ski holidays Mürzsteg - Remote jewel in the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park!
Mürzsteg
In the middle of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park in Styria lies the small village of Mürzsteg, home to just under 600 people. Those seeking peace and quiet will find an undisturbed spot of winter idyll here in front of the magnificent panorama of the Mürzsteg Alps. The village is the purest Alpine postcard motif: individual, detached farmhouses, with the Mürz rippling past and the Mürzsteg hunting lodge towering above them with its three gables, which serves as a residence for high-ranking Austrian politicians in the summer. The leisure activities in the nature park have everything to offer for a fulfilling winter holiday: skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking, ice climbing, ski touring - as long as everything is always nice and quiet.
Mürzzuschlag
The densely forested and very scenic Upper Styria stretches between Austria's two largest cities. Along the valley road between Graz and Vienna - the Semmering motorway - the communities of Bruck and Mürzzuschlag form the cultural and tourism centres of the valley. From the Semmering Pass to the Hochschwab (2,277 m), the region also offers a variety of hiking and excursion opportunities.Travel Mürzsteg
