Location
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Das SCHÜTZ am Obertauern is located on the pass summit in the centre of Obertauern and directly in the ski area with direct access to the famous Tauernrunde. An access point to the cross-country trail is directly at the accommodatin and thanks to the favourable location, the skiing down to the accommodation run is also possible.Facilities
The hotel's facilities include a reception, entrance area with heated tiled stove with seating facility, Wi-Fi, lift, lounge with open fireplace, panoramic dining room, bar and a ski and boot room.In addition, the spa area with indoor pool, Roman steam bath, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and a relaxation room is at your disposal (spa package for a fee, opening hours as per info in resort). Various massages are available for a fee. Free parking spaces can be found and used upon availability and a garage parking space is available for a fee (subject to availability).
Board
Depending on the booked room type, an extensive breakfast is included and when booking half board PLUS, an afternoon snack and a 4-course evening menu of choice with salad buffet is additionally included. A vegetarian menu is also possible on request and a themed evening takes place once a week. Special dietary cuisine, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free meals are available on request. During holiday periods, there is also a separate children's buffet in the evening. Every day, you can also help yourself to a vitamin basket with juicy fruit in the hotel.Pets

Important notes
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children aged 5 and under, they ride for free when accompanied by a parent. When taking part in ski lessons, a lift pass must be purchased in resort.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
