Cross-country Obsteig

In Mieming and Obsteig there are 8 trails each, with a total length of approx. 38 km available, which lead through wonderful larch forests and past farms, but some also across wide, open meadows. Besides the sporty aspect, nature can be enjoyed wonderfully here. Both skating and classic style skiing is possible in this easy to intermediate network. The longest trail of the region is the "Gurgltal" trial with 18.8 km length and recommended for more experienced skiers. Beginners can enjoy a once a week try-out session on Sundays. Participation in this lessons and the use of the trails is free with the local "Gäste.Card" (guest card).

With more than 80 snow days throughout the year and the perfectly prepared trails, the region on the sunny plateau Mieming & Tirol Mitte has been awarded with the Tyrolean Cross-Country Quality Seal.
