Cross-country Pfunds

Lots of cross-country trails are on offer in and around Pfunds, so that also cross-country fans will get their money's worth. For example, there is a 3 km long high-altitude trail in the "Pfunder Tschey" high valley. Pfunds has a total of 17.5 km of trails - all prepared for both classic and skating style. In Tiroler Oberland, which is specialised in cross-country skiing, the cross-border trail network reaches into Swiss Engadin and offers a total of 120 km trails.

That's still not enough for you? 74 km of trails can be found in the nearby Ischgl/Samnaun area which you can reach by ski bus. On the 90 km cross-boarder trails nearby Nauders you can reach the Reschen Pass in Italy. Except for the high altitude tracks on snow-sure 1,900 m, use of trails is for free!

The high-altitude trail at Kauner Valley Glacier offers perfect snow conditions at an altitude of 2,800 m. Those who are fit enough should test the 25 km valley trail from Feichten to Kauner Valley. Cross-country courses are offered in almost every resort.
