Ski area Ski Juwel

Due to the interconnection of the ski areas Wildschönau and Alpachtal, accessible with the gondola, the lift pass "Ski Juwe Alpbachtal Wildschönaul" offers 113 km of piste incl. ski routes. With this lift pass you have access to the ski areas Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl, Oberau, Schatzberg, as well as Kramsach, Reither Kogel and Wiedersberger Horn. The ski area is served by 45 lifts between 690 and 2,025 metres above sea level. From Reith you can go directly to the Reither Kogel via a gondola. In the neighboring Alpbach you gain access to the various conncected ski areas at Wiedersberger Horn and Schatzberg.

Various levels of difficulties ensure that beginner, as well as pros can really enjoy themselves here. Children can go to Bobos Kid's Club. For families and relaxed skiers the Schatzberg is especially attractive or also the Reither Kogel, whilst ambitious skiers can swing down the northern mountain side of the Markbachjoch and Lanerköpfl, as well as speed through various deep powder snow areas and free rider areas with 17 km of marked ski routes.

The various piste offers can be easily reached with the complementary ski bus. For snowboard freaks there are various options to run riot: in the snow park at the Wiedersberger Horn, the fun park at Schatzberg and the Race-and-Trainingscenter in Niederau - all offering loads of fun and action.

To honour the 10th anniversary of Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, the new Hornbahn 2000 will start taking you to the highest point of the ski area in less than 4 minutes as of winter 22/23. The new mountain station of the Hornbahn 2000 is also a real highlight: The 360° viewpoint "Top of Alpbachtal" offers unique panoramas of the Tyrolean mountains.

If you want to share your impressions with your friends and family at home you have access to 25 Wi-Fi hotspots in the entire ski area.

With the "SuperSkiCard" lift pass extension you can choose from 2,750 km of pistes and 926 lifts in 21 ski regions!

Which winter sports fan hasn't dreamed of being the first to try out the freshly prepared pistes in the morning? With "First Line Skiing" at Wiedersberger Horn in the Ski Juwel, early birds can rejoice in this special experience from March until season end. Afterwards, enjoy a hearty breakfast in one of the rustic mountain huts and savour the perfect start to your day.

Night skiing Reith

With the ski area Ski Juwel, you can find one of the best night ski areas in Austria, in which you do not have to miss out on skiing at night time. Directly in Reith, at Reither Kogel, the lifts Reitherkogelbahn, Nordlift and the Brandachlift tow lift are open for night skiing every Friday and Saturday frm 18:30 - 21:25. Altogether, a total of almost 6 km on three pistes are illuminated for night skiing. Every Tuesday (also from 18:30 - 21:15), the family piste is also illuminated for ski tours. The lifts, however, are not operating in this time. In Wildschönau, in the ski area Roggenbogen, two broad pistes with snowmaking systems are illuminated for night skiing and night tobogganing every Wednesday and Thursday from 19:30 - 21:00. The tickets for night skiing in Reith and Roggenbogen can be acquired in resort.

Après ski Reith

Apres ski in Ski Juwel Alpbach Wildscönau begins with the retreat into the rustic mountain huts. A hearty meal is the relaxed starter to the rest of the evening. Afterwards the local pub "KAM-IN" invites to socialise and dance, at least at the weekends. During the week the bar offers besides others, cocktail and wine evenings. Another popular meeting place for party animals is the pub "Servus", the "Liftstüberl" and "Juppi's" umbrella bar.

Those who prefer to be outside in the fresh air, can decide between going on a snowshoe hike, tobogganing, curling or simply going ice-skating on the frozen lake.

If you are also looking for the very special adrenalin kick on your holiday, then a spectacular tandem flight at an altitude of 1,000 m with a fantastic view over the Wildschönau is for you. Dates can be arranged daily.

Three times a week you also have the opportunity to prove yourself as a snow groomer co-pilot. For around 60 minutes, 500 horsepower and 10 tons are in your hands! A must for all motorsport fans.

The Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser is another highlight waiting for you. 1,035 m in lenght, 134 meters of altitude difference and countless jumps and roundabouts make the fast ride with the Alpine Coaster massive fun for big and small passengers. But beware, don't forget to smile - the photo point is waiting...

Snowpark: Snowpark Alpbachtal Reith

At the Wiedersberger Horn in Alpbach (freestyle) wishes come true! And not only for absolute professionals. The concept of the snowpark is also designed for families and beginners who have always wanted to try out what it is like to reach completely new heights and push themselves to their own limits. The "Snowpark Alpbachtal" invites first and foremost to have carefree fun in a family atmosphere and attracts the brave inexperienced with mini hills and jumps. In the "Family Park" there are 6 m Speed Booster, 6 m Rainbow Butter Box, 6 m Wave Butter Box and a 2 m Kicker available and are a perfect challenge for those who dare to enter a snowpark for the first time. But also the experts get their money's worth: For advanced riders there is the "Jip - and Kicker Area" with two 4 m kickers, 5 m roller, 6 m kicker, 10 m kicker as well as 4 m flat box, 5 m flat butter box, 5 m mail box, 5 m jib tank, 6 m rainbow box, 6 m wave jump box, 6 m straight industry, 8 m flat down rail and 8 m flat down box.

In total the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau even has two parks. In addition there is the Race-and-Trainingscenter in Niederau on the Tennladen slope with a permanent giant slalom and speed track and a carving area. On the Wiedersbergerhorn there is also a new funslope, which promises fun for young and old with waves, rails and numerous fun elements!
