Ski area Koralpe

The ski area Koralpe offers very wide pistes of all difficulty levels at and altitude of 1,522 m to 2,070 m thanks to its broad summit. One of these great carving pistes is a whopping 100 m wide. Red pistes lead down from the summit of the Steinschober (2,070 m) over the mountain crest and down the steep slopes of its mountainside. The black piste "Frantschacher-Abfahrt" and the red piste "Wasserhang-Abfahrt" are prepared freeride pistes which pose a challenge for pros and freeriders.

Further down the mountain and close to the valley station you will find areas for families and their skiing children. The ski school Bobo offers a magic carpet, as well as a practice lift, which can be used by the young ones and adults eager to learn skiing. The Burgstallofen lift takes the kids to the adventurous run "Märchenwiese" (fairy tale meadow). Right next to it there is a well-prepared snow park for freestylers and boarders offering the opportunity for a jib session.

The ski area Koralpe provides everything the skiers heart could desire: a practice piste for beginners, a 100 m wide carving piste for adepts or the ones wanting to enjoy the spacious piste and the cross-country pistes for pros. It is no surprise that the diverse and safe ski area Koralpe has received the Carinthian "Pistengütesiegel" (piste seal of approval)!

The well-kept snow park was enlarged recently and is located below the mountain station of the Burgstallofen lift. Young freestylers and skiers who would like to try sliding, jumping and other tricks can look forward to rails, boxes and kickers.

The obstacles were developed by experts and meet the highest snow park standards.
