Ski holidays Stuben - a snowy paradise!

Stuben

The well-known and traditional winter sports resort of Stuben is the smallest of the five Arlberg resorts and lies at an altitude of 1,407 metres. This is where skiing pioneer Hannes Schneider was born in 1890, the founder of Austria's first ski school. The small mountain village radiates a lot of charm and cosiness and has retained its originality all this time. Those who spend their holidays here are more likely to seek romance and a dignified atmosphere than noisy après ski. That being said, those who don't want to do without the latter should spend a night in the party hotspot St. Anton (12 km). In Stuben itself, there are, of course, also a few bars where you can round off the day in an atmospheric setting. For those who want to stroll and shop, a trip to the sophisticated Lech, also only 12 km away, is recommended. Stuben is the ideal combination of sports and cosy get-togethers.

Arlberg

The Arlberg boasts internationally renowned winter sports resorts and ultra-modern, well-equipped ski areas. The ski area (1,304-2,811 m) with its 302 kilometres of pistes and 85 mountain lifts is one of the most modern in the world, and the first ski course was held here a good 100 years ago. The Arlberg offers an Eldorado for everyone without exception, whether beginner, pro or freerider. In addition to very well-groomed pistes, the region is also known for its fantastic deep-snow slopes. Historically grown and sustainably developed villages characterise the region, which offers you a fantastic stay in a historic atmosphere and also has a wide range of leisure activities on offer, including paragliding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing and tobogganing. Numerous après-ski options, varied and first-class gastronomy and a wide range of sporting and cultural events round off the offer.
