Location and facilities
The comfortable, 4-star Sonnenhotel Zaubek lies at 1,500 m, on the southern side of Mount Gerlitzen, on the "Kanzelhöhe" and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. The ski centre can be easily reached via two wide and easily manageable tracks, the nearest pistes are approx. 200 m away. When snow conditions allow it, ski-in to the hotel is possible. A winter hiking trail can be found directly at the building. The resort centre of Treffen is approx. 10 km away and Villach is approx. 12 km away.The family-run hotel offers a reception, Wi-Fi and Internet corner, restaurant, breakfast room, bar, café, panoramic terrace, wine cellar, children's playroom with table tennis, table football, game console as well as a ski room for your equipment. Free parking spaces can also be found (upon availability)
The approx. 150 m² spa area offers an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and relaxation room. The fitness area is also available to enjoy for free. Treatments in the beauty centre can be booked for a fee.

Depending on the type of room/board booked, breakfast or half board is included. When booking with breakfast, you will receive a rich breakfast buffet. When booking with half board, you will receive a 4-course evening meal of choice or buffet in addition to the breakfast buffet. A special menu is served for children.Pets

Important notes
- Children under 6 years receive will not receive a lift pass voucher as they will receive a free lift pass when one of the parents purchases a full valid lift pass at the same time. Children (born in 2014 and 2015) can ride for free when accompanied by a parent. Children riding alone (participating in ski lessons, for example) must purchase a "Bambini" card (lift pass) in resort. Further information can be found at the lift office.
