Ski area Zadov - Churáňov
Even though it's hardly necessary thanks to lots of snowfall, three of the pistes are equipped with snow making systems. Nightskiing is available in the neighbouring resort Kobyla. Here you can find three flood-lit pistes that are prepared on a daily basis and invite you to further skiing fun from 18:00 - 21:00.
If that's not enough for you, you can make use of the lfit pass Sumava Superskipass, which gives you access to three ski areas in the interconnected Sumava ski region. When buying a 2 to 7 days lift pass the three largest ski areas in the Bohemian forest (Spicak, Kramolin and Zadov) can be used with only one lift pass.
Après ski Stachy (Stachau)
A tip for hikers: an educational round-trail with a length of 7km leads around the peak of Churáňov. The educational path stops at 10 information boards regarding the resorts' and its surroundings' history. Here you are informed about natural sights round about Churáňov as well as about the typical Bohemian Forest architecture. All resting areas offer a wonderful panorama. The trail is suitable for hikers, but also cross-country skiers can use it in winter. The start and ending point is located approx. 300 m below the peak. A symbol of a green-white letter helps you find your way.
If you want to eat out in the evening, Stachy's hotel restaurants are the place to go. Don't forget to try the national dish, roast pork with dumplings and sauerkraut.
Snowpark: Snowpark Stachy (Stachau)
