In the total ski area of La Plagne, cross-country ski fans will find a total of 80 km of perfectly-prepared trails. From Les Coches itself there is a 16 km long track which takes you through the wonderful wintry landscape of the region. The unique, picturesque view of the Grand Casse in the national park La Vanoise is magnificent. Access to the cross-country trails is free in all party, except for Champagny.
The longest tour near La Plagne, is the 7.8 km long "Laisonnay" at an altitude of 1,400 m, which thanks to its harder levels of difficulty is also a challenge for experienced skiers. The neighbouring resort of Les Arcs offers a further 15 km of cross-country trails, including a 5 km long cross-country trail at altitude near Les Arcs 2000.
