Ski area La Plagne (Paradiski)

With the "Domaine La Plagne" lift pass, you can use 135 pistes with a total length of 225 km and 74 lifts between 1,207 and 3,167 metres above sea level. All the main runs from the four main peaks Roche de Mio (2,700 m), La Grande Rochette (2,505 m), Les Verdons (2,500 m) and Le Biolley (2,350 m) end in the wide semicircle of the valley bowl of La Plagne. This means you can easily reach any point in the ski area from any part of the village!

Beginners will find flat runs at all stations, and the tree-free runs at Belle Plagne are particularly suitable for their first turns. In the centre of La Plagne, the entrance to the ski area has been redesigned: A beginners' area and a new green piste have been created and the Bécoin 4-seater chairlift has been replaced by a fast, detachable 6-seater chairlift. The snow parks with halfpipe, boardercross and various extras round off the comprehensive offer. La Plagne is even home to the longest fun slope in Europe!

The countless deep snow areas promise absolute enjoyment for off-piste fans. On Face Nord in particular, the northern flank of the Bellecôte glacier, even experienced freeriders will find extremely challenging options that should only be tested with a ski guide.

With the "Paradiski Illimité" lift pass upgrade (see ski region), you even have access to 425 kilometres of pistes from Les Arcs and La Plagne every day, which are connected by the modern Vanoise Express! In addition, with a 6-day lift pass "Paradiski Illimité" you can enjoy numerous benefits, such as additional skiing in the afternoon on the day of arrival, 1 x free entry to the Village Igloo Arc 2000 ice cave and much more (see information on site).

Night skiing Les Coches

The Paradiski ski region is also a true paradise when it comes to night skiing. Night skiing is centred in the piste area of Les Arcs. The popular night skiing takes place here regularly on a total of three night ski pistes at different altitudes: In Les Arcs 1600, the approximately 1 km long blue piste on the Combettes 3-seater chairlift is floodlit. There is also a floodlit piste in Les Arcs 1800 at a higher altitude. The 6-seater Marmottes chairlift takes you up to the approx. 1 km long blue piste. Both runs are of an easy level and can also be mastered by young and old under floodlights in the evening.

The new "Mille 8" in Les Arcs' Chantel district offers a night skiing highlight for boarders and freestylers: the "Les Bosses" boardercross fun area is illuminated with LED lights every week on Thursdays until 8.30 pm. The snow park can be reached via the Villard gondola. From La Plagne, the night skiing areas can be reached via the Vanoise Express.

Après ski Les Coches

As the day draws to a close, for some people it really gets going! Après-fun is well catered for in La Plagne: various bars and discos invite you to party throughout the ski resort. The most popular meeting places in Belle Plagne are the "Cheyenne" or the "La Tête Inn". The "Spitting Feathers Ski Bar" in Plagne Bellecôte with its English owner is very popular due to its live sports broadcasts and regular happy hour. The shuttle bus between the stations operates until midnight and is free of charge!

Those who prefer a quieter pace can enjoy the exquisite cuisine in one of the restaurants. The numerous mountain huts at the mountain stations offer local specialities. There is also a wide-ranging programme of daytime entertainment: helicopter flights, ice climbing on the specially created ice tower or frozen waterfalls, a speedy ride on a snowscooter or a bobsleigh ride on the 1992 Olympic bobsleigh run in La Plagne - there are no limits to your imagination! Quieter activities such as snowshoe and winter hikes, ice skating or a relaxing ride on a dog sled are also easily possible here.

Snowpark: Snowpark La Plagne Les Coches

La Plagne is home to a 2.5-hectare snow park with the longest fun slope in Europe! Alongside the snow park in Les Arcs, this fun park is the largest in the Paradiski Illimité ski resort region.

The park offers a halfpipe, a boardercross course and various lines with four different levels of difficulty. Various rails, kickers, boxes and butter boxes can be found on the blue, green, red and black lines, so that beginners as well as advanced riders can improve their skills while enjoying the view of one of the largest ski areas in Europe. Thanks to the large air bag in the park, brave riders can push their skills to a new level.

If you ever feel like leaving your board(s) behind, you can race down the professionally designed toboggan run in Colorado Park and have a different kind of battle with your friends.
