Ski area Braunlage Wurmberg
At Wurmberg the little ones can also change from boards to sledges or tyres. There is a 1.5 km long toboggan run and a 200 m long snow tubing run.
Night skiing Schierke
For night owls and skiers for whom the usual piste times are too short, the Braunlage-Wurmberg ski area also offers the opportunity to go skiing at night: Usually on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 20:00 to 22:00, the Rathauslift in Braunlage is open for night skiing. Then winter sports enthusiasts are transported up the piste under floodlight and can glide down again in the glow of the moonlight. Depending on snow conditions, night skiing in Braunlage is also possible on other days, here one should pay attention to the announcements on site.Après ski Schierke
The city's sporting offer is all the greater: there are various toboggan runs to choose from - the most beautiful of them in the Zwölfmorgental. Hike through the forests of the Harz Mountains, explore the Brocken on numerous hiking trails or shoot pirouettes on the ice surface of the ice stadium in Schierke.
In the Hasseröd Holiday Park the whole family can enjoy themselves in the large adventure pool, in the sauna landscape, bowling or in the indoor play world. Wernigerode Castle with its originally furnished living rooms is also always worth a visit.
Snowpark: Snowpark Schierke
Unfortunately there is not snowpark in this ski area.
