Location and facilities
The friendly-furnished 4-star Ringberg Hotel is located on the Ringberg with a unique, 360° round view, approx. 5 km from the centre of Suhl. A bus stop can be found in direct proximity to the hotel. To the ski pistes of Oberhof, it is approx. 20 km, to those in Oberweißbach approx. 50 km.The hotel's facilities include an entrance area with reception, Wi-Fi (payable locally), various lifts, lobby with bar, restaurant, a la carte restaurant, sauna bar, conservatory, terrace and garden, free-of-charge parking spaces and a locally payable parking garage. The tourist information centre is located in the same building.
The spa area offers indoor pool and gym room (incl., opening hours as per notice in resort). The sauna complex, beauty treatments and massages can be booked and paid for locally. From 3 nights stay, the use of the sauna complex is included one per stay, from 6 nights, access is granted twice per stay, for each up to 2 hours, as included. From 5 nights stay one small back massage per full-payer (15 minutes) is included, and further each room receives one "Thüringer Wald Card" incl. activity guide book for the Thuringian Forest (not for the savings tip rooms, and not during the travel period 22nd Dec 2016 - 2nd Jan 2017).
For family entertainment, there is a daily changing sports and entertainment programme, as well as a creative workshop, table tennis, Nordic Walking park, high rope course, as well as a skittles alley (partly payable locally). Nordic Walking equipment and heart rate band can be rented from the hotel for the Nordic Walking park (payable locally). For the little ones, there is a games rental station, as well as a baby sitter service (payable locally).
In the time between 22nd and 28th December 2016, there is mulled wine or punch available upon arrival, and there are various Christmas events taking place in the hotel.. Between 27th December 2016 and 2nd January 2017, there is a New Year's programme on, under the motto "Doppelgänger" with various events going on, as well as mulled wine or punch upon arrival.

The comfortable rooms all ave a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (payable locally), hair drier, sitting corner, telephone, radio and some also have a balcony (only on request).Board
The holiday price already includes half-board and comprises a welcome drink, a breakfast buffet with vitality food corner and a 3-course dinner menu (with choice of main dish) or buffet in the evenings. For dinner, drinks such as water, apple juice, house wine and local light beers are included.Pets

- Access to the spa area is permitted from 4 years and only if accompanied by an adult.
- Access to the indoor pool is only permitted to children if accompanied by an adult.
- The indoor pool is closed for maintenance from 13th March until 19th March 2017.
