Ski area Liftverbund Feldberg

With the "Liftverbund Feldberg," you have a total of 63 varied kilometres of pistes at your disposal, distributed over the areas of Feldberg, Altglashütten, Menzenschwand, Muggenbrunn, Todtnauberg, Notschrei, Stollenbach as well as Belchen and accessed by 37 lifts.

In the district of Todtnauberg, on the sunny, southern side of the Feldberg, lies the lift entrance to one of the most interesting skiing areas of the Feldberg Lift Association. It has 13 km of well-maintained runs, all of which are marked in red. From slalom runs to FIS tracks and ski routes - every good skier will find something here. Beginners needn't worry, though, as they will also find their descents here. Children can let off steam in the new beginner's fun park and there is a ski school practice area on the toboggan slope. A floodlit piste and cosy umbrella bar at the Kapellen lift make the day-filling mountain sports offer at Stübenwasen (1,388 m) perfect.

Those looking for even more variety should take a detour to the centre of the lift network. The Feldberg (1,493 m), the highest mountain in the Black Forest, offers about 26 kilometres of pistes, 16 runs and is accessible by 14 ski lifts. The family mountain also offers challenging pistes and is therefore a treat for every winter sports fan.

Night skiing Todtnau

In the Black Forest around the Feldberg there are several options for extended skiing pleasure. Winter sports enthusiasts on holiday in Todntau do not have to miss out on skiing at night. About 4 km away from the village centre, in the district of Muggenbrunn, there is a small yet lovely night skiing area. On the beginner-friendly slope, a 1.2 km night ski run is illuminated. The two Wasen ski lifts are open four times a week from 17:00 to 21:30 for extended skiing fun.

However, the largest night skiing area in the Black Forest is in Hinterzarten at the "Skizentrum Thoma". Here, a whole 4 km of pistes in the ski area are floodlit five evenings a week. Another floodlit piste for night skiing in the region can be found at the Stockingerlift near Freudenstadt.

Après ski Todtnau

The centre of the lift network is also the centre of après ski in the region. Right after the last descent on the Feldberg, head for the après ski bar "D'Hase-Stall" directly at the valley station. In this cosy bar, which was constructed using parts from a 300-year-old farmhouse, the atmosphere can sometimes be a bit lively. Other bars, such as the "Himalaya Lodge" or the "Pub Oje" can be found in the village of Feldberg itself, about 1 km from the valley station. In Todtnau, the party can be extended well into the night at the "Fuchsbau" discotheque.

However, in and around Todtnau, you will also find a nice alternative programme for the second half of the day. The Hasenhorn Coaster on Todtnau's local mountain is a fast-paced highlight for all ages. Over a distance of just under 3 km, you can go downhill on rails, alone or in pairs, at lightning speed. There is also a toboggan lift with an illuminated slope in the village, where the sledding fun lasts until the evening hours. Hikers will enjoy a 70 km network of trails, including the viewpoints on Todtnau's local mountain, the Hasenhorn, or on the Hochkopf (1,267 m), where an observation tower offers views of the Feldberg, Herzogenhorn, Schauinsland and Belchen. The motto here: Leave everyday life down in the valley and enjoy the rustic romance of the hut, the clear mountain air and the distant views all the way to the Alps. Also worth a visit is the Todtnau waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Germany with four falls and a height of almost 100 m. Finally, the local inns offer a culinary variety of regional, home-style and Mediterranean cuisine to round off the evening.

Thanks to the favourable location in the border triangle of Germany, Switzerland and France, you also have excursion options to attractive large cities. In just over an hour's drive, you can reach Basel and Alsace, and in only 30 minutes, the beautiful city of Freiburg.

Snowpark: MINI Snowpark Feldberg Todtnau

For freestylers, the MINI Snowpark on the Feldberg is the highlight of the lift network. The well-equipped park is one of the top snow parks in Germany and makes the hearts of freestylers on skis and snowboard beat faster. A well thought-out and varied setup awaits you on the heights of the Feldberg. A large selection of different rails and boxes are the speciality of the shape crew. Several kickers with tables of different heights round off the challenging setup. After all, it is no coincidence that the MINI Snowpark regularly hosts regional and international freestyle events.
