Ski area Skiworld Ahrntal

With the "Skiworld Ahrntal" lift pass, you have access to the four ski areas Klausberg, Speikboden, Weißenach and Rein. At altitudes between 950 m - 2,510 m and with a total of approx. 78 kilometres of piste, you will find everything skiing hearts desire! Modern snow-making systems guarantee snow security from November to Easter and excellently prepared pistes ensure a great time on the slopes.

At Speikboden you will find primarily gentle slopes which are popular among beginners. One attraction of this ski area is the modern Speikboden gondola, which only takes eight minutes to race up 900 m, bringing you to a height of 2,000 m. This is especially remarkable, as the path runs along a curve. At the middle station, change over to a chair lift and continue upwards to a height of 2,250 m. Directly next to the Seenock piste, you will find a great fun park that ensures all sorts of adrenaline rushes.

Want to share your skiing experiences you collected during the day with your friends and relatives? No problem! In many locations in the ski area, you have access to free Wi-Fi hotspots. Here you can share your fun with others, send photos, and be up to date with the latest news.

At the Klausberg's valley station you will find a Kinderland, where the little ski devils are in excellent hands. The so-called "Klausiland" offers the little skiiers many attractions. A magic carpet, the "Klausi-Express", a snow igloo, the "Klausi-Burg", slides, and a slalom area take care of keeping the entertained. The little guests, however, are offered even more in Klausberg: the unique Dino Fun-Line, which is a fun area with whoops, steep curves, and little boxes. The fun area is surrounded by 10 life-size dinosaurs, such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

In the snow park at the K2 valley station, snowboarders can wear themselves out; the difficult pistes "Hühnerspiel" and "Hexenschuss" also ensure fun and action amongst experienced freestylers. The longest run - approx. 8 km with an altitude difference of 1,460 m - is found at the Klausberg K2, whereas the loveliest carving slopes are found at the "Sonnenlift". Deep snow fans will get their money's worth further away from the pistes.

With the Plan de Corones combination ticket (must be valid for 5 days or more), you can enjoy one day of skiing at Plan de Corones. This means that you could enjoy 5 days of skiing in Tauferer Ahrntal and then one day of skiing in Plan de Corones, for example. The day at Plan de Corones is freely selectable within the validity of the lift pass, but you may not use the combination ticket in Tauferer Ahrntal on the same day as Plan de Corones.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Campo Tures

It is not only the nearby Nature Park Rieserferner-Ahrn that makes Sand in Taufers a highlight - one also should not forget about the opportunity to turn night into day on the pistes. Thanks to floodlights, the toboggan run in the ski area Skiworld Ahrntal Alpinwelt can be used until late in the evening. The night ski area also opens its pistes for night skiers twice per week, and the pistes are brightly illuminated by modern LED lights. The energy-saving technique makes night time skiing fun especially ecofriendly. When the pistes are open for night skiing, they are freshly prepared for night skiers at nightfall.

Après ski Campo Tures

Treat yourself to traditional and delicious dishes from the area after an eventful day on the piste. Or, turn night into day in the hot discos "Pik-Club" directly in Sand or the "Almdiele" in Luttach. A must for all apres ski fans is the "Ochsenblut" at Klausberg. Here you can party into the early morning hours.

Racing down the toboggan run during the day or night is a favourite among young and old, as are snowshoe hiking, ice falls climbing and ice skating. All guarantee a lot of fun and action. The Alpine coaster "Klausberg Flitzer" is a special highlight. The bobsleigh run is the longest Alpine coaster in Italy and promises fun to young and old. You can control your own speed and reach up to 40 km/h. Every lift pass includes a free run on the coaster!

Snowpark: Snowpark Funtaklaus Campo Tures

Right next to the gondola "K2" at Klausberg freestyle fans can find the snow park "Funtaklaus". Corners, up to 18 m big air kickers, various rails and boxes wait for beginners and pros.
