Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Snowpark: Cortina Snowpark Cortina d'Ampezzo

The ski area Tofana definitely makes a statement with the Cortina snow park when it comes to freestyle. No matter whether you're standing on one or two boards - no one will be disappointed here. 500 m of length are filled with various obstacles, divided into two categories, which are lined up behind each other and offer great conditions for beginners, as well as intermediates. Via the park's own 4-person chair lift, the kickers, rails, and boxes etc., where you can show off your skills, can be easily reached.

The slightly smaller option, with e.g. kicker with 1 - 6 m tables, a box and a ground rail, forms the beginner line, which is perfectly constructed to make your first freestyle moves. The medium line begins with a super kinked box with an area of 4 m, as well as a 4 m decline and then transitions into the pro line with various spectacular obstacles, such as a tree bonk with peak. There is something available for freestylers of all levels of skill!
