Location
The 3-star Superior Dolomites Hotel Union, managed with great attention to detail, is located about 1.4 km from the centre of Dobbiaco. A ski bus stop and the Dobbiaco train station are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and offer perfect connections to San Candido, around 5 km away, to the Haunold ski area and to the entrance to the Three Peaks Dolomites ski area, around 9 km away. The cross-country ski trail can be accessed directly in front of your accommodation and a practice lift is about 1 km away.Facilities
The hotel facilities include a reception, lounge, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, wine cellar and a ski cellar. A charging station for electric cars (for a fee), free parking spaces and a parking garage (for a fee) are available at the hotel, subject to availability.The spa area (for guests ages 16 and up) covers approx. 500 m² and offers a swimming pool with panoramic view, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, experience shower, relaxation zone, standing solarium and a fitness area. Massages can be booked on request and for a fee on site.
One voucher for two selected drinks at the hotel bar is included per person and stay (valid for stays of 4 nights or more, non-transferable, no cash redemption).
At check-in you will receive the guest card "HOLIDAY PASS", which entitles you to free use of public transport in South Tyrol (subject to change, see information on site).
The accommodation has the GSTC certificate (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), which certifies that it operates in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. For example, the employees are continuously trained and the energy requirements are largely covered by emission-free solar systems, solar panels and district heating.
The hotel is also certified as a cross-country skiing hotel and has an award for regionality as well as AIC certification for the preparation of gluten-free meals.
Board
The half-board included in the price includes a rich breakfast buffet and a choice between a typical and a Mediterranean or vegetarian 3-course menu in the evening (excluding themed evenings) with salad, vegetable and starter buffet. Occasionally there is also a dessert and cheese buffet as well as a smoothie buffet. The Christmas dinner is included in the price. Important notes
- Access to the spa area is permitted from the age of 16.
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children aged 7 or under. For each adult lift pass purchased, one accompanying child of this age group receives a free ticket for use of the lifts on site (ID required). If there are more children than adults travelling with you, a children's lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
