Ski area Monterosa Ski

The lift pass "Monterosa Ski incl. Glacier" opens up skiing fun on 205 kilometers of slopes. Gressoney la Trinité is located in the heart of the Monte Rosa ski area and offers direct access to the ski area, the largest in the Aosta Valley. With 52 lifts, the area is well connected and allows access to slopes of all levels and fast transport between ski areas.

Monte Rosa is one of the 15 highest ski resorts in Italy and is therefore not only guaranteed snow, but also particularly diverse. The ski circuit connects three valleys, the gondolas go over Colle Bettaforca (2,727 m) and Punta Indra (3,260 m). In this large area there are slopes of all levels of difficulty, which can also be covered with artificial snow in case of unfavorable weather conditions. Legendary is the descent from the "Punta Indren", which overcomes altitude differences of 2,000 meters. In addition, snow parks, children's lands, race tracks and cozy huts offer plenty of variety.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Après ski Gressoney La Trinité

Gressoney de la Trinitè offers, in addition to numerous cafes and restaurants offering specialities from Aosta Valley, a disco in which to end your day. If you prefer a more laid-back evening, head to the relaxation centre before hitting the pistes again. You can also strap on some ice skates and show your stuff on the natural ice rink. A special highlight is heliskiing, but ice climbing or paragliding also offer some exciting hours.

Snowpark: Funpark Gabiet & Funpark Sarezza Gressoney La Trinité

The ski resorts of Estoul, Antagnod and Gressoney-Saint-Jean each have a child-friendly baby snowpark in the lower slope area. There is of course also an adult variant in the Monte Rosa ski region: the Gabiet Snowpark is located at 2,350 m at the foot of the Indren. The park is located on the red run and is served by a 3-seater chairlift. The line is 300 m long and is divided into an advanced zone as well as a beginner zone. Over a dozen different boxes and rails are located here, plus six jumps and two table jumps. To distinguish the difficulty levels from S to XL, the elements are marked in different colors. So every jibber can easily find the right course for him.
