Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Marilleva 1400

As in the other Alpine countries, there are also in Italy some ski resorts with floodlit slopes for night skiing. One of these night ski resorts is the Folgarida-Marilleva ski area, where there are two slopes to choose from for night skiing. In the village of Folgarida, you can go night skiing on the "Stadio Slalom Slope". For those who want to enjoy skiing at night, Marilleva offers night skiing on the "Biancaneve" slope. For night skiers, a trip to the nearby ski resort of Pejo is also worthwhile, as there you also have the possibility of using the night ski slope "Mezoli". For owners of a valid ski pass for the ski areas, participation in night skiing is free of charge. Otherwise, evening tickets for night skiing can be purchased on site.

Après ski Marilleva 1400

Non-skiing activities can be enjoyed at the ice skating rink, a tennis hall or the ice stadium in Folgarida and in Mezzana. Or, you can explore the snowy mountain landscape on snow shoes. Recommended are day trips to the somewhat larger resort Malè (approx. 20 km away) and the world-famous ski metropolis Madonna di Campiglio (approx. 35 km away). You can also enjoy traditional culinary delectables in one of the numerous restaurants.

Snowpark: Snowpark Alternative Park Marilleva 1400

In the ski area "Folgarida-Marilleva" there are 2 snow parks. In the resort Marilleva, lies the "Alternative Snowpark", which is located right next to the mountain hut "Malba Panciana". Just as in nearly all the other Italian snow parks, this one is also tended to with lots of dedication and therefore it is a popular refuge for all adrenaline junkies. With the 6-person gondola Malga Copai-Panciana you can easily cross the entire area, which is fenced off with security nets.

300 m² of area, dotted with various obstacles, such as different boxes and rails, as well as various kickers and a quarter pipe, offer a special experience especially for pros. Although the park was opened not too long ago, it is already included in the list of hosts for competitions and festivals. You will surely not be bored here!

Around Folgarida, beginner freestylers have the opportunity to try their first few tricks in the snow park "Malghet Haut". Just above the valley station of the chair lift "Bamby" there are small boxes and rails, as well as two kickers available.
