Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Monte Bondone

Just like in many ski areas in Italy, several regions in Trentino also offer night skiing, such as e.g. Monte Bondone, where a respectable selection of night skiing pistes is available in the main season from December to March. Night skiing takes place at the 6-person chairlift Montesel twice per week under the motto "Monte Bondone Night & Day". Sever pistes are illuminate: the blue pistes "Diagonale Montesel" and "Cordela", as well as the more difficult red piste "Lavaman" make up a total of 5 km of night ski piste. Nearby the latter you can also find the 600 m snow park, whose kickers and super pipe are illuminated by floodlight. Freestylers can look forward to night-time shredding! The night ski offers are rightfully described as extensive and attractive. If you want to go skiing at night you can acquire special evening lift passes in resort.
