Ski area Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi

The lift pass "Val Gardena/Alpe di Suisi" gives you access to 178 kilometres of piste and 84 lifts between 1,236 - 2,518 m. The altitude and very modern snow-making systems ensure especially high snow security. Beginners especially enjoy the wonderful, soft slopes in Ortisei and Wolkenstein, as well as between Sellajoch and Piz Sella. Experts are drawn to the world cup mountain Ciampinoi (2,254 m), with diverse black runs such as the famous "Saslong". Boarders will feel right at home in the fun parks, and a plethora of deep snow areas excite free riders as well. The connection to Seiser Alm perfects the ski enjoyment!

For even more selection, the lift pass can be upgraded to "Dolomiti Superski" (see ski region) - for a legendary 1,202 km of piste and 460 lifts! You will also then have access to "Sellaronda", the legendary circuit around the Sella Massif.

The ski area Gröden/Val Gardena was voted the winner of the category "Mountain restaurants and huts 2014" by the website skiresorts.de - the largest testing portal for ski areas worldwide. Numerous mountain huts, such as the Comici hut, the Gamsblut hut or Fienile Monte can be found in the ski area on and next to the pistes and offer dishes of good quality.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.
