Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel The Excelsior is situated in a quiet location in the resort of Arosa, about 300 m away from the centre. The Arosa ski area can be reached after about 1.5 km with the hotel's own shuttle or with the public ski bus, of which stops just about 200 m away from the accommodation. When snow conditions allow it, ski-in to the accommodation is possible and a cross-country trail can be accessed after about 3 km.The stylish accommodation is furnished with a hotel hall with reception and welcome area, lift, Wi-Fi, lounge, restaurant "Montanara" and "Bündnerstübli", the bar "1822" as well as a ski and boot room. Parking spaces, as well as a public parking garage (approx. 1.5 km away), are limited and can be used for a fee (no reservation possible).
The approx. 250 m² spa area with indoor pool, Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam bath, sanarium and relaxation room invites you to relax free of charge. The fitness room can also be used for free. You also have the option to play billiards or rent out sledges (upon availability).
Rooms
The stylish rooms all have a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, radio, safe, hair dryer and mini bar (for a fee). The rooms are located in both the main building and side building (which are connected via a passageway).Board
The included half board includes a balanced breakfast buffet and a 3-course menu in the evening. On request and for an extra charge, a gluten-free, lactose-free or vegan alternative can be prepared. At Christmas, you will be served a Christmas dinner.Pets
