The Heidbodme ski area in Saas-Almagell is a family-friendly ski area with around 15.5 kilometres of predominantly red and blue pistes and 7 lifts. The varied range of pistes is rounded off by the Kinderland Furggstalden, where children not only find a course with cartoon characters, but can also have fun on snowtubes and even on children's skidoos.

Night skiing Saas-Almagell

In neighbouring Saas-Grund, you also have the opportunity to benefit from the popular night skiing. Between December and February, the Ziebel T-bar lift in the hamlet of "Unter dem Berg" serves a blue run, which is floodlit by appointment and for group requests.

Après ski Saas-Almagell

In Saas-Almagell, you can round off a long day of skiing in a cosy restaurant or toast a successful adventure right at the valley station of the mountain railway. For a drink in the evening, there are various bars to choose from, such as the "Groovy Bar", which is perfectly located in the village centre. More après-ski can be found in nearby Saas-Fee. Here you will be welcomed to après-ski right at the end of the valley run. Various bars such as the "Fee Igloo Bar" or the "Black Bull Bar" with its cosy wooden terrace await you with music, delicious drinks and a great atmosphere! Those who prefer a quiet and cosy atmosphere can choose from a variety of rustic cafés and restaurants and indulge in Swiss specialities.

There is also plenty of action after skiing in Saas-Almagell and the surrounding area: on the 3 km long toboggan run down from Furggstalden, for example, which is regularly floodlit in the evenings. On the natural ice rink, you can not only ice skate but also try your hand at curling. Or simply explore the beautiful surroundings on foot - on the numerous winter hiking trails. Those seeking relaxation will find numerous wellness offers in the Saas Valley. If you're looking for a real adrenaline rush, the "Gorge Alpin" via ferrata is the right place for you. With ladders, suspension bridges, pendulums and various cable cars, it takes you through the gorges from Saas-Fee to Saas-Grund - under the guidance of experienced mountain guides.

Snowpark: Freestyle Park Morenia Snowpark Saas-Almagell

The extremely snow-sure ski area Saas-Fee offers a wide range of pistes to meet all visitors' expectations. Additionally there are also two large snow parks which attract freestylers and boarders, as well - be it beginner or pro. In the Morenia area, at 2,600 m altitude lies the freestyler park "Morenia" with various kicker lines, boxes, rails, a quarter pipe and a half-pipe. In the Chillout-Zone you can comfortably relax in between the runs.

Beginners should take a peek into the beginner park at Staelwald. There you can test yourself on some new tricks on three different lines of varying difficulty.

Just below the Kreuzboden, in the ski area Saas-Grund, there is also the fun park ""Kreuzboden": it will let freestyler hearts beat faster with it's various kicker and rails on offer.
