Location and facilities
The elegant 4-star Hotel Ambassador consists of three interconnected buildings. To the centre of Zermatt and to the train station, as well as to the Gornergrat lift it is only approx. 100 m. A ski bus also stops approx. 100 m away.The furnishings of the hotel, which is styled like a Swiss chalet, include a reception with lounge, elevator, Internet corner, Wi-Fi, a popular à la carte fondue restaurant and piano bar, as well as a ski room.
Zermatt is a car-free village. Parking spaces are available in the parking garage in Täsch (for a fee) and from there you can conveniently take the shuttle train to Zermatt (payable locally, approx. 8 km). Furthermore the hotel offers a shuttle service for arrival and departure, from and to the train station Zermatt (upon prior reservation).
The spa area, which can be used for free (16:00 - 20:00, open hours subject to change), comprises a sauna, jacuzzi, and indoor pool (07:00 - 20:00.). Massages can be booked and paid for locally.
Rooms
The cosy and comfortably furnished rooms are equipped with a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, radio, telephone, Wi-Fi, mini bar (for a fee), safe, as well as in most cases a balcony (depends on the booked room type). Accommodation can take place in any of the hotel buildings.Board
The holiday price includes a daily breakfast buffet, as well as a refreshments (non-alcoholic) and coffee bar with fresh fruit for self-service. On location, evening meals can be booked, for a fee. On 24/12, Christmas dinner is served. On New Year's Eve, an 8-course gala dinner, a cocktail and live music is included in the holiday price. All meals are served in the main building.Pets

Important notes
- Hypoallergenic rooms are possible with prior reservation.
- All board services will take place in the main building.
- Zermatt is car-free. The resort can be reached by shuttle train from Täsch.
- Children are only allowed to use the spa area from 3 years and only if accompanied by an adult.
- When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
