Ski holidays Breckenridge - skiing at nearly 4,000 m!

Breckenridge

The highest ski destination (2,926 m) in the Vail/Summit area is the Victorian-style town Breckenridge. Here sun lovers and ski fans equally get their money's worth, as 300 days of sunshine and an average annual snowfall of 760 cm let you enjoy a first-class skiing holiday. The ski region shines with 123 km of well-prepared pistes and wonderful forest runs down to the town. With the Summit Ticket you have access to a total of 376 pistes and 57 modern lifts in three top ski areas in close proximity! The resort is reminiscent of a western town and radiates pure idyll from its wooden houses, which you normally only see in films. Many saloons and candy-coloured houses from the Gründer era can be found all down the main street; numerous shops and restaurants are located in the centre and guarantee sufficient fun and relaxation after skiing. There are also many apre ski locations, great favourites with the younger crowd. A visit to the nearby town of Silverthorne is definitely worthwhile for fashion fans, as you will find an outlet village there with more than 50 shops.

Vail/Summit

The Vail/Summit area is situated in the wonderful surroundings of the Rocky Mountains, in the middle of Colorado, and is also called the "region of superlatives". Nowhere else can you find so many fantastic, huge and unique ski areas in such close proximity. The piste selection is very diverse and, above all, a real treat for advanced skiers! Boarders can also take advantage of the variety provided by several fun parks and elements such as super pipes, big airs and tables. Comfort and luxury are a high priority in the entire region, and confirming the motto "the customer is king", you will receive exceptional service. The night-life and leisure activities offered are - as is the entire region - large and versatile.
