Ski holidays Auffach - precious jewel of Tyrol!
Auffach
The cosy village of Auffach is the Wildschönau winter centre with the Schatzberg ski areal. The town situated at an altitude of 875 meters is primarily know for its countless hiking trails and also for the Schatzberg gondola, one of the longest single circuit trains in Austria. Far away from the hectic everyday, Auffach offers a relaxing holiday experience in the midst of beautiful natural scenery. Traditions and local culture are an important part of the charm. While on your holiday don't forget to try the "Krautinger" a Wildschönau speciality, in one of the many local inns.Wildschönau
Nestled picturesquely in a sunny upper valley on the edge of the Kitzbühel Alps is Wildschönau, with its four idyllic Tyrolean resorts. This winter sports region, in the heart of a majestic mountain landscape, is exceptionally family-friendly. Due to the interconnection with the ski areas in the Alpach Valley, the new "Ski Juwel" (jewel) offers approx. 113 km of piste, as well as 16 km of sign-posted ski tours, and therefore now belongs to the top ten ski destinations in Tyrol. Equipped with modern snow-making systems, the ski areas in Wildschönau offer high snow security. Cosy lodges ensure that guests receive the necessary refreshment, and numerous cafés, bars and restaurants in all of the resorts invite guests in to linger.Travel Auffach
