18 km of cross-country trail network can be found on the high altitude plateau of Hohentauern where classical and skating trails can be found parallel next to each other. The Hohentauern network consists, among others, of the 5 km Tauern trail/family trail (blue) as well as the 3 km sports trail (red) and the 2 km central trail (red). An around 5 km long hiking trail in the Trieben valley round off the offer.
The cross-country tracks cross each other at times and stand out due to their diverse altitudes. The Hohentauern region stands for quality; it has been rewarded with the "Styrian Cross-Country Trail Quality Seal" and it is member of the "Cross-Country State Styria" and thus all tracks are prepared, marked and maintained accordingly and guarantee for a wonderful cross-country experience! Partially there is a fee due to use the trails.
