90 km Cross-country trails (in km):
The area around Voralberg is real paradise for Nordic skiers, as it offers around 90 km of trails within the network. Approx. 16 km of these are prepared for skating style, another approx. 22 km facilitate night skiing and further 20 km are located at higher altitude and enable some wonderful panorama views and provide for great cardio training.
From the Kristberg, via the Silvretta Montafon and Gargelen right up to Golm, the Montafon area not only offers great Alpine ski areas, but also pretty valley basins and broad Alpine meadows - ideal for extensive cross-country tours. The trails lead through valleys, past streams and around the Silvretta Lake, right up to St. Anton am Arlberg. The high-altitude trail at the Bielerhöhe, at over 2,000 m, is the highest-located trail in the entire Montafon. Fantastic panorama views over the peaks of the Piz Buin (3,312 m) and its neighbours await you here.
