The ski paradise with the "Gletscherpark Card Winter" stretches out over six attractive ski areas: the family-friendly Hochzieger at the entrance of the valley, the sporty Rifflesee, the popular Pitztal Glacier, the Kaunertaler Glacier, Winterberg Fendels, and the comfortable Hoch-Imst. The ski connection stands out with a total of about 121.5 km of piste between altitudes of 1,000 m and 3,440 m.

The underground "Pitz-Express", the world's fastest glacier "underground" follwed by the highest cable car in Austria, the "Waldspitz" lift, take you up to the seemingly endless glacier areas at the Hinterer Brunnenkogel at 3,440 m. This is the highest point in Austria, which can be accessed by lift system and only the Wildspitze (3,774 m), Tyrols highest mountain towers above this point in the background.

As of the 18/19 winter season, Tyrol's first ski tour park has been opened in the Pitz valley. The park is located in the secured ski area on the Pitztal glacier and offers uphill trails in three levels of difficulty. Ski tours are possible here until the end of April.

The challenging ski area, Rifflsee, holds intermediate and off-piste opportunities available around the Grubenkopf. The ski track to the Pitz Express offers an easy transition to the glacier ski area Pitztal.

At the entrance to the Pitz Valley lies another ski area, the Hochzeiger. This area presents itself as family-friendly and very balanced: Whilst the little ones are minded in the Zeigerrestaurant, adults and teens can ski the sunny and wide pistes at the Sechszeiger or the more challenging runs at the Rotmoosbahn. Whether its ski routes, mogul pistes, racing or chronometry slopes - there is something here for everyone!

The Hoch-Imst ski area also presents itself as quite family-friendly, also not far away from the district's capital of Imst. With easily navigable runs, a good infrastructure as well as a large children's area and fun park, this small but excellent ski area is optimally equipped.
