Ski holidays Gossensass – Ski holidays in the North of Italy!
Gossensass
The rustic village of Gossensass in the Italian Wipp Valley, which is situated between the Brenner and the resort Sterzing is, even nowadays, still characterized by the charm of art nouveau and the classy tourism era of the 19th century. The former climatic health resort still offers much more than a fabulous view and relaxation. Numerous winter sports enthusiasts and families visit the small Italian village every year. Whether skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or ski tours - there is something for everyone here. Children don't miss out on anything either, since a large children's area with an excellent ski school and supervision can be found in the Ladurns ski area. Parents can therefore enjoy the usually excellent conditions on the pistes while their children learn to ski and go wild in the snow or in the play areas. Most certainly, Gossensass also offers other leisure activities, such as a toboggan run or a paragliding tandem flight in Sterzing. For those who just want to relax after a grand day on the piste, it is possible to end the day in the sauna or the swimming pool.
The journey to Gossensass is as relaxing as the resort itself, as the next motorway access is only approx. 5 minutes away and the airport of Innsbruck only approx. 50 km.
Wipptal
The Wipp Valley stretches from Innsbruck to Franzenfeste and is a combination of eleven communities with completely different characteristics. Picturesque villages with customs and rustic essence, as well as secluded mountain farms and natural landscapes or small cities with modern charm await guests. The Wipptal also offers many opportunities for ski tours. The Brenner motorway offers good travel connections to Wipp Valley. Experience magnificent types of landscape: tremendous rock walls, an ice armoured summit, and as always a fascinating glacier.Travel Gossensass
