Ski holidays Brusson – a picturesque mountain village in the Aosta Valley!

Brusson

Brusson is located at 1,338 metres in the sunny Aosta Valley. Aosta, the capital of the region, lies approximately 50 km away. The name Brusson comes from Latin and translates to "gold mine", reflecting the precious discoveries made in the ground in the past. The resort has 900 inhabitants and its trademark is its well-kept buildings, giving it a typical mountain village charm. In an elevated part of the village, you will find the Graines castle, once the home of the Challant noble family. The idyllic mountain lake of Lago di Brusson is located not far from the village centre. Winter sport fans can look forward to a multi-faceted holiday in the traditional and picturesque mountain landscape. The pistes of the local ski area of Estoul are perfectly suited for families, and the other ski areas of the Monterosa ski region offer a varied range of skiing experiences. A real highlight for fans of cross-country skiing is the well-renowned cross-country and biathlon centre in Brusson.

The beautiful panorama of the majestic mountain ranges of the Walliser Alps in the north, the Mont Blanc massif in the west and the Gran Paradiso in the southwest: in Brusson you are surrounded by awe-inspiring nature.

Monte Rosa

The resorts in the Monte Rosa ski region offer all ski enthusiasts 175 kilometres of piste and 39 lifts at up to 3,275 m. In all of Italy there is no other ski area that is more well-known for its off-piste terrain and diverse heli-ski tours. Experienced winter athletes in particular will be spoilt for choice.
